The abstract, including artwork and author names and affiliations, should fit onto one A4 page (written in 12 point Times New Roman font).
The file should be named LastName FirstInitial BloodsurfAbstact.ext, were "ext" is the file extension (pdf, docx, or odt).
Artwork may be included as a separate file, labeled similarly with LastName FirstInitial BloodsurfGraphic.ext, wehre ext is the file extension (tif, jpg, etc.)
Furthermore, the following information is requested with the submission:
First name, last name, affiliation, and e-mail address of the presenting author, and, if different, of the corresponding author;
If the presenting author is a student, they should include the name of their adviser and a brief CV to be considered for travel fellowships. Please limit your CV to one page;
Whether the authors would be interested in submitting a manuscript to IUPAC journal Pure and Applied Chemistry (for information purposes only; this will not affect the abstract selection process).
The receipt of your abstract will be acknowledged within three working days.
Submitted abstracts will then be evaluated and authors notified of their acceptance by the 1st of June 2017 to give sufficient time for travel arrangements.
Note, that if we did not acknowledge the receipt of your abstract, that means we have not received it.
